The Lions Story
This video, narrated by Penelope Keith, shows the history of Lionism from its foundation in 1917, how the movement developed and spread through the world eventually coming to the British Isles and Ireland in 1950. It describes our major sight programmes and the work done by the Lions of the British Isles and Ireland in Bosnia to help rebuild hospitals and help children following devastating war in the former Yugoslavia. The final part of the video shows more about the work of Lions Clubs in their local communities in the British Isles and Ireland, how they raise their funds, how these are distributed and how "ORDINARY PEOPLE ACHIEVE AMAZING THINGS"
